CRI听力:Microsoft Responds to China's Anti-monopoly Probe
Microsoft's China unit has issued a statement in response to the government's anti-monopoly investigation, saying it will "actively answer" questions in the probe.
The statement comes after China's business watchdog confirmed it's carrying out an anti-monopoly investigation into Microsoft's business on the mainland.
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce is accusing Microsoft of failing to fully disclose anti-competition information about its Windows operating system and Microsoft Office application.
Inspectors are investigating a Microsoft vice president and senior managers, on top of making copies of the firm's financial statements and contracts.
Microsoft says it has always abided by the laws and regulations here in China.
