CRI听力:The Expendabiles are back with Third Movie

American actor Sylvester Stallone and his "Expendables" are back, with a third movie.

Some of the megawatt cast of "The Expendables 3" - Stallone, Jason Statham, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes and Kellan Lutz - have attended a press conference in London ahead of the film's world premiere.

The third edition includes younger stars such as Lutz and female Mixed-Martial-Arts fighter Ronda Rousey (the only woman in the cast), as well as Snipes, Banderas, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Kelsey Grammar.

Stallone explained why it was important to inject some new blood into the franchise.

"We needed to upgrade and re-tool, and bring actors that are known for their physicality, but they are also incredibly dramatic actors, nominated actors, actors that have done films almost in every genre and I thought this would be interesting."

"The Expendables 3" premieres in the U.K. on August 14th and comes to the Chinese mainland on the 20th.
