CRI听力:Japan's Carmakers Regain Market Share in China: Fitch

2014-08-07来源:CRI

Ratings agency Fitch is reporting Japanese automakers have regained some market share in China that had been lost following a diplomatic dispute over the Diaoyu islands in the East China Sea.

The automakers had a combined market share of 16.5 percent in the first half of the year, an increase from the 16.4 percent of the same period last year, but still short of the over 20-percent level before the island dispute.

Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Suzuki and Mazda have all reported sales increases of at least 10-percent in the first half.

China is now the world's largest car market, with its passenger car market growing over 11 percent in the first half.

Fitch is predicting China's passenger car market will continue its double-digit growth in the second half.
