CRI听力:15 Killed after Gunmen Storm College in Nigeria
At least 15 people have been killed after gunmen stormed a higher education college in northern Nigeria.
Another 35 were wounded as the gunmen fired on fleeing students and set off an explosion.
Police says officers arrived on the scene killed two of the attackers.
Police commissioner Aderinle Shinaba:
"Then the lectures were going on at the time. They entered and two explosives were dropped in the lecture theatre that is facing us here and some gun shots. I think there is another one that was carrying AK47 rifle and some explosives. One of the security agents shot at him and the explosion went off, killing him alone, by defence, there."
There is no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
But the Islamist militant group Boko Haram has been considered a prime suspect.
The group is fighting to carve out an Islamic state in Nigeria.
It attracted international attention with the kidnappings of over 270 schoolgirls in April.
