CRI听力:WHO Declares Nigeria Officially Ebola-free
The World Health Organization has officially declared Nigeria is now free of Ebola.
"WHO officially declares that Nigeria is now free of Ebola virus transmission. The outbreak in Nigeria has been defeated. This is a spectacular success story that shows to the world that Ebola can be contained."
Nigeria has reported 20 cases of Ebola since the current outbreak in West Africa began in December, including eight deaths.
All of Nigeria's Ebola cases can be traced to an Ebola victim from Liberia who brought the virus with him.
Meanwhile, another UN staffer has died from Ebola in West Africa.
The man, a driver for the UN's Women's agency, has died in Sierra Leone.
He is the third UN employee to die from Ebola in West Africa.
The driver's wife is also being treated for Ebola.
