CRI听力:U.S Nurse Defies Ebola Quarantine with Bike Ride Near Home
An American nurse has broken quarantine for health care workers who have treated Ebola patients.
Kaci Hickox has been confronted by reporters taking a bike ride near her home in the US state of Maine.
"Thank you guys. I have to go speak with the Health Department now.
Q: Did you do this without the advice of your lawyers, am I right?
I did."
This is the second time Hickox has broken quarantine.
State officials in Maine are planning to go to court later on this Friday to detain Hickox for the remainder of the 21-day incubation period for Ebola, which will end on November 10th.
Hickox treated Ebola patients while volunteering in Sierra Leone.
She has tested negative for Ebola and has shown no symptoms.
