A campaign to educate people about Ebola prevention is underway in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou.
Volunteers from the Red Cross Society of China are distributing health guidebooks, liquid soaps, masks and thermometers to people in the city to try to prevent and control Ebola.
A one-million-yuan fund has also been set up to assist anyone in the city who has Ebola.
Health authorities in the city are also moving to quash rumors about the virus in the city.
Lin Jinyan is the deputy director of Guangdong provincial disease control and prevention center.
"All the cases under investigation, including those who have been screened at the airport or in urban areas, have so far tested as Ebola negative. There is no Ebola infection in Guangdong."
Guangzhou is home to a large number of people from Africa.
The city is also the main transit hub for Africans coming to China.
