The Chinese love movie "For love or money" hits mainland cinemas today.
The movie is based on Chinese romance novelist Siu-Haan Cheung's novel of the same name.
It tells the story of a pretty girl from a declining aristocratic family who bumps into and falls in love with a poor painter.
The film is directed by Gao Xixi, a Chinese producer, who is famous for directing commercially successful Chinese television series.
Chinese pop icon Crystal Liu and Korean singer-actor Jung Ji Hoon star in the film. Mainland actor Tang Yan and actress Wang Xuebing also play supporting roles.
