CRI听力:Iran's Top Leader Says the Country Will Accept Fair Decisions
Iran's supreme leader has issued a new statement, saying he is "not opposed" to the continuation of talks over the country's disputed nuclear program.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is also warning that Iran will not be bullied in the next round of negotiations.
"We accept rational words, we accept fair and sensible agreements, but if there are bullying and excessive demands, no, we won't accept this. The Islamic Republic of Iran, from top to bottom, will reject, and neither the people nor the authorities will accept, such remarks."
Khamenei's comments are the first since Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, plus Germany, agreed on Monday to extend their nuclear negoations, which were due to expire.
As part of the agreement, a political agreement is supposed to be signed by March 1st.
The technical details of any forthcoming deal have to be sorted out 4-months later.
