CRI听力:Cleveland Beat Atlanta 94-82 in Game 2

2015-05-24来源:CRI

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Atlanta Hawks 94-82 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals in Atlanta on Friday.

The Cavaliers were without injured star Kyrie Irving in the game.

LeBron James scored 30 points, and made 11 assists for Cleveland.

This was James' 74th 30-point playoff game, and that ties him with Jerry West for fourth on the career all-time list behind Michael Jordan (109), Kobe Bryant (88) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (75).

The Cavaliers says he learned a lot in the series opener and used those lessons in Game 2.

"In Game 1 we had a big lead and we decided to play the clock and that was my fault. I took that straight to the head and I knew that if I got that opportunity again I wouldn't let it happen again. So we had the same thing happen again today and we just kept our foot on the gas. We had early shots on the shot clock and we took them. If not, we executed and we were able to continue our roll. We continued to defend as well and that was very important."

With the victory, Cavaliers take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Game 3 is Sunday in Cleveland.
