China's veteran Zheng Jie and Henri Kontinen from Finland made it to the semi-finals in mixed doubles at French Open.
They cruised past Zheng Jie's women's doubles partner Chan Yung-Jan and John Peers from Australia in straight sets 6-4, 6-4.
Hsieh Su-Wei from Chinese Taipei and Flavia Pennetta of Italy also advanced in women's doubles, beating Janette Husarova and Paula Kania 6-3, 7-5.
On the men's side, Roger Federer will face Stan Wawrinka in men's singles quarter-finals at 10 p.m., Beijing time.
Federer was knocked out at this stage last year.
A victory will make the Swiss star the first into the semi-finals.
In other action, top seed Novak Djokovic is also into the last eight, beating France's Richard Gasquet 6-1, 6-2, 6-3.
The world number one will face off defending champion Rafael Nadal in the quarter-final.
He offered his thoughts on the upcoming match.
"I never won against him at Roland Garros, but in the other hand I was close a couple of times. And the fact that I have a great season this year and I'm feeling good from every aspect of my game allows me to have belief and reason to, you know, to go on the court and try to win."
Nadal is now seeking a 10th Roland Garros crown.
It will be Nadal's 71th career win at the French Open should he win the game.
