CRI听力:Economic Fugitive Returned to China
Another suspect from China's list of the "100 most wanted economic fugitives" was repatriated on Monday.
Sun Xin is a former cashier of the Beijing municipal bureau of press.
The 46-year-old is suspected of embezzlement while at the bureau.
He allegedly transferred up to 10 million yuan to his private company.
Sun Xin fled to Southeast Asia in 2008.
Li Huawei is an official from China's anti-graft department.
He says they received information in May that Sun was hiding in Cambodia.
"Sun was put on list right after he was found fleeing the country. And the successful arrest is a result of joint effort from the Ministry of Public Security and Chinese embassy in Cambodia, as well as the central anti-graft department. "
Sun Xin was the third economic fugitive on the wanted list to be arrested since Interpol's China office issued the list in April.
Dai Xuemin, the former head of an investment and trust company in Shanghai, was arrested in April when he was trying to enter China with fake documents.
He fled China in 2001 and is suspected of embezzling 1.7 million US dollars.
Li Huabo, a former financial official in east China's Jiangxi Province, fled the country in January 2011 and is suspected of embezzling 15.4 million U.S. dollars.
He was arrested in Singapore and expatriated to China last month.
