CRI听力:Jordan Spieth Wins Tournament of Champions
Jordan Spieth has taken another step toward cementing his position as the world's best golfer.
The 22-year old American has won this edition of the PGA's Tournament of Champions in Hawaii, tearing up the course at Kapalua, finishing at minus-30.
"Yeah, very satisfied. We got down here early, (my caddy) Michael and I played a lot of golf on this course ahead of time - I actually played a few rounds with Brandt (Snedeker), which is kinda funny, he was up there too. Felt comfortable the whole week, I felt like it was just a short, three week, you know, break over the holidays and then just try and continue exactly what we were doing last year so that's kinda the way I think I'm gonna keep on thinking about it. It worked this week and all parts of the game were firing."
Only one other player in PGA history has finished a 72-hole tournament above minus-30.
Ernie Els hit a minus-31, also at Kapalua, in 2003.
Patrick Reed, the defending champion of the winners-only tournament, finished a distant 2nd at minus-22.
