CRI听力:China's Olympic Team to Face Qatar at AFC U23 Championships
China's Olympic team is set to take on Qatar this Tuesday night to start out this year's AFC Under-23 Championships in Qatar.
"We expect tight game. All teams are very tight, especially. The first game it is very important to start well in the competition. We are going to play against a very organized and good quality team so we are going to be ready and try to perform well and to be successful," says Qatar head coach Felix Sanchez.
A total of 16 teams across Asia are taking part in the event.
China is in Group A with Syria, Iran and Qatar.
China is attempting is attempting to earn its first appearance at the Olympics since being granted an automatic exemption as host in 2008 in Beijing.
The top three teams from the tournament will qualify for this year's Olympics in Rio.
