CRI听力:Branden Grace Becomes First Player to Successfully Defend Qatar Masters
South African Branden Grace has become the first player to successfully to defend the Qatar Masters title.
The 27-year-old fired a final round of 69 to finish at 14-minus, two shots ahead of Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen and Spain's Rafael Cabrera-Bello.
"Yes, it was great. Obviously, to win is tough, but to defend is even tougher. We all know that. But it was great. I played some really good golf and it paid off at the end. Now I know what it takes to defend a title, but this is a special one. This is one that really put me on the map last year. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Now winning it twice is just extra special."
Former British Open champion Paul Lawrie had a rough final round, slipping to a tie for 13th after coming into the final round with the lead.
