Peter Uihlein has fired an opening round 64 to lead by one stroke at the European Tour's True Thailand Classic.
"It's always nice when you birdie half your holes. You're always going to shoot a pretty good number when you do that so I'm pleased really. I putted well. The putter is still hot which is nice. (I) hit some good wedges, good iron shots. Yes it was good. Solid day."
Sweden's Pelle Edberg is one stroke back.
Scotland's Scott Jamieson and Spain's Javier Colomo ended the day two shots back after both carded rounds of 66.
