CRI听力:Stefanie Sun Sings for An Upcoming Romance Movie
An upcoming Chinese romance film 'Distance' or Zai Jian, Zai-Ye-Bu-Jian再见,在也不见in Chinese has made Singapore's Queen of Mandopop Stefanie Sun sing its theme song.
"Distance", which portrays the struggle of gay love as a husband traumatically abandons his wife and son, is set to debut in Chinese theatres on May 13th.
The film, composed of three stories, would see Taiwan actor Chen Bolin play three separate roles in three different stories helmed by directors from China, Singapore and Thailand respectively.
Also the movie has its theme song written by prolific Hong Kong award-winning lyricist Albert Leung and music performed by Beijing-based International Master Philharmonic Orchestra.
Stefanie Sun's previous experience singing for a movie could date back almost seven years ago.
She has sold over 30 million copies of her albums in her career so far.
