CRI听力:Malan Flower Premiered in Beijing
The newest adaptation of classic children's drama 'Malan Flower' has recently premiered at the China National Theatre for Children in Beijing.
It will also perform on June 4th and 5th, the first weekend of the month.
The two lead characters of the drama are the couple Xiao Lan and her husband Ma Lang, the God of Flowers, who enjoy a happy and harmonious life with Tree Grandpa and many lovely little animals.
However, a greedy Old Cat intended to steal away the miraculous Malan Flower from the couple, and then killed Xiao Lan. It reflects a conflict between good and evil, and the powerful Malan Flower will always bloom brightly for the industrious people.
Malan Flower is widely believed to be unparallel in terms of performing arts and the number of spectators it has attracted, since its debut following the founding of the China National Theatre for Children in 1956.
And 'Malan Flower's return is also part of the celebration for the theatre's 60th founding anniversary.
