Veteran Italian diver Tania Cagnotto claimed the bronze medal in the women's 3-meter springboard at the Rio Olympics. Cagnotto started her pursuit of an Olympic medal way back at the 2000 Sydney Games, when she was just 15 years old. After 16 years of tireless effort, she finally realized her dream at age 31. This has been hailed as one of the most touching and inspirational stories in Olympic history.
Our correspondent Liu Yan managed to get an exclusive interview with Cagnotto, in which she commented on the competition and announced her retirement.
