CRI听力:China's LeEco expands business in U.S. market
Chinese technology company LeEco has strengthened its presence in the United States by partnering with AT&T and making video streaming services available on its smartphones and TVs.
On Tuesday, LeEco announced plans to offer up to 12 months of complimentary DIRECTV NOW access to customers who buy its EcoPhones or EcoTVs before January 5th.
DIRECTV NOW is a new video stream service offered by AT&T, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the United States.
Subscribers can stream their favorite TV networks and made-for-digital video content with more choice and flexibility on their tablets, smartphones or TVs.
The service will also be available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Android mobile devices and tablets, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, among others.
LeEco recently aroused controversy with many analysts suggesting they were spending too much too quickly on its self-driving car project in the U.S., but the company said its expansion strategies in the U.S. market will not change.
