CRI听力:China-US trade dispute: clash of multilateralism and unilateralism
It’s been 16 months since the US firstly announced to impose trade tariffs on China, and talks between the countries have yet to produce an agreement.
As the trade negotiation with China has yet been settled, the Trump administration holds its America First trade policy and continues imposing tariff on other countries, such as Japan, Germany, France, India, and Turkey. Many of those nations have responded with retaliatory tariffs on the U.S.

To better understand, CRI reporter Xu Yawen had a talk with Bai Chong-En, Dean of School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University.
