A defiant Vice President Mike Pence said that President Donald Trump's administration is refusing to accept defeat on health care. He told small business owners in West Virginia that the Trump administration will "end the Obamacare nightmare."
Residents of Western Mosul began burying family members on Saturday who were allegedly killed in US-led coalition airstrikes. Residents reported two airstrikes hitting a residential area on March 13th and 17th. There are reports that more than 100 civilians were allegedly killed.
Turkish Airlines said it began implementing the electronics ban with its passengers heading to the US and the UK. Passengers are not allowed to carry electronic devices larger than a cellphone into the aircraft cabins.
Cities around the world went dark on Saturday evening to mark Earth Hour, an international event intended to raise awareness of climate change. In Paris, the Eiffel Tower, in Rome, the Colosseum, and in New Delhi, the India Gate, all switched off their lights to participate in the global event.
