Hundreds of people gathered on the University of Virginia campus for a vigil against hate and violence. Marchers gathered peacefully in the same areas where torch-carrying white nationalists marched on Friday.
President Trump abruptly disbanded two of his White House business councils. A number of business leaders had openly criticized the president for blaming the violence in Charlottesville on both sides.
South Korea's president said he would consider sending a special envoy to North Korea if the North would stop missile and nuclear testing. North Korea appears to have backed off its threat to fire missiles around Guam.
And negotiators from the US, Canada and Mexico began reworking NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement. President Trump calls NAFTA the worst trade deal in history. Canada and Mexico say it's an economic success story.
