Heavy rain could bring even more floods to the Houston area. Local officials say some areas got five inches of rain in only 90 minutes Thursday night.

And the US Coast Guard has rescued dozens of people from a Canadian whale-watching boat off Washington State. The boat's operator says the vessel was damaged by a rock and started taking in water.
