Macy's flagship store and other businesses were targeted as violence followed protests in New York. Windows were broken, merchandise was taken and people were taken into custody at the scene.

Demonstrations were held in several other cities, over the police-involved death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. At least 5,600 arrests have been reported since the demonstrations began.
President Trump urging police and governors nationwide to take stronger stand against protesters. Officers cleared demonstrators from a park near the White House so the president could visit a church.
And the World Health Organization says there have been more than 150,000 coronavirus cases in Africa. There are concerns the virus could spread as dozens of countries decide when to open their economies.
