AP News:拜登指责特朗普应对疫情不力

The Atlanta officer who fatally shot Rayshard Brooks in the back after the fleeing man pointed a stun gun in his direction is going to be charged. Fulton County District attorney Paul Howard made the announcement about Garrett Rolfe during a news conference Wednesday. Rolfe had already been fired after he fatally shot the 27-year-old Brooks on Friday night.
A dramatic shift has taken place in the nation's opinions on policing and race. A new poll by the Associated Press-Norc Center for Public Affairs Research finds that more Americans today than five years ago believe police brutality is a serious problem that too often goes undisciplined and unequally targets black Americans.

Joe Biden ratcheted up his criticism of president Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Accusing him of ignoring the damage he's caused by an inadequate response to the outbreak. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee attacked Trump for the high rate of U.S. deaths and charged that the economy is “still sputtering."
New York's governor has signed an executive order recognizing Juneteenth as a holiday for state employees. Juneteenth is observed on June 19 and commemorates the emancipation of slaves in the U.S..
