US Capitol Police say they uncovered intelligence about a militia group plot to breach the Capitol on Thursday. Two law enforcement officials anonymously told The Associated Press that authorities identified online discussions about possible attacks.

House Democrats passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. It includes a ban on chokeholds and creates national policing standards. House Republicans opposed the bill and said Democrats want to cut police budgets.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo apologized but said he will not resign amid sexual harassment allegations. Three women have accused Cuomo of inappropriate touching and offensive remarks.

The SpaceX Starship made what looked like a picture-perfect landing in South Texas. Minutes later, the Starship exploded in a huge fireball. SpaceX did not immediately say what went wrong.
