Police in Britain have told the BBC that at least one suspect is still on the run following the three attempted bombings and Glasgow in London. Five people are already in custody. Two were arrested at Glasgow airport. Three others have been detained in the northwest of England. Detectives say the suspects are of Middle East origin and not British, but this's not been officially confirmed. In another development a security sources has told the BBC that there were at least 3 gas canisters inside the car that crashed in the Glasgow airport in Scotland. And the man in charge of counter terrorism in / Britain, the deputy assistant commissioner Peter Clock, has said the links between the three incidents in Glasgow and London are becoming clearer.
"We are learning a great deal that the people who were involved in the attacks here in Glasgow and the attempted attacks in central London. I am confident, absolutely confident that in the coming days and weeks we will be able to gain a thorough understanding of the methods used by the terrorists of the way in which they planned their attacks and the network to which they belong."
President Putin has arrived in the United States where he will hold informal talks with his American counterpart Gorge Bush. The two men who were holding their meeting in Mr. Bush's family seaside retreat in Kennebunkport in the state of Maine are hoping to improve their relationship and ease tensions. Mr. Bush wants Mr. Putin to take a tough line on Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Fertility experts in Israel say they have extracted eggs from girls as young as five for use in future IVF treatment. They say the procedure could be used on girls undergoing aggressive chemotherapy for cancer which often reduces fertility in later life. Although it is not clear how viable these artificially material eggs would be. One of the researchers Ariel Ravil said it would at least give the girls a possibility of becoming parents.
The chances of those girls to get pregnant is very slight because of the aggressive treatment that they received and this new project now offers the parents and girls a possibility of fulfilling a dream that not only the girl should recover from her disease but would also be able to have children in the future.
The President of Argentina Nestor Kirchner decided that he would not stand for reelection in October. Instead his wife Christina Fernadz Kirchner will be a candidate. Mrs. Kirchner who is already in Argentine senate would officially launch her campaign later this month. An opinion poll suggested she is likely to win a clear victory in the first round of voting.
The man who is hoping to become the first black president of the United States senator Barack Obama says he has raised more money for his election campaign in the last 3 months than his main rival within the Democratic Party Hilary Clinton. From April to the end of June, he has amassed $32.5 million which his campaign officials say is a record for a Democratic candidate.

For the first time in more than a year, Israel has released to the Palestinian government in the West Bank some of the hundreds of millions of dollars it holds in frozen tax funds. The money's been withheld ever since the radical Islamic group Hamas won elections last January. Rob Norris has this report.
Israel's freeze on the transfer of tax revenues coupled with economic sanctions imposed by the west had pushed the Palestinian authority to the brink of financial collapse and prevented government workers from receiving full wages for nearly 18 months. The transfers of tax revenue were worth about $50 million a month. Israeli officials say the remove is aimed at bolstering the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas in his stand-off with Hamas.
Princes William and Harry have hosted a memorial concert for their mother Dianna, princess of Wales, at Wembley stadium in London. Over 60,000 people attended. There were performances from some of Princess Dianna's favorite artists including Elton John and Duran Duran. Prince William said the concert was a celebration of his mother's life. "The singing is above all that my mother loved in life, her music, her dance, her charities, and her family and friends."
the Cuban president Fidel Castro says the American intelligence agency, the CIA, has not changed its methods despite its release of previously classified documents detailing the illegal tactics it's used in the past. In a newspaper editorial, Mr. Castro called the move a smoke screen and said brutal CIA actions will continue around the planet.
Officials in Pakistan say at least 50 people are now known to have died in the flash floods which have inundated hundreds of villages in the province of Baluchistan. But poor communications and the remoteness of some of the affected areas are making it impossible to compile accurate figures. More than a million people had already been hit by severe storms cyclone Yemyin struck on Tuesday.
