The World Health Organization has for the first time declared the corona virus outbreak a pandemic. The head of WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said he was deeply concerned by the spread and severity of the disease, and what he called alarming levels of inaction.

U.S share prices have tumbled again over concerns about the economic impact of the corona virus. The Dow Jones Index closed under 6% down, wiping out yesterday's gains. President Trump tweeted that he was fully prepared to use the full power of the federal government to deal with the outbreak.

The scams were conducted by video conference, with one of the fraudsters made up to look like that the current French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.
