The World Health Organization has endorsed the widespread use of the first proven vaccine against malaria, a disease which kills more than 400,000 people a year.

The vaccine will be distributed primarily across sub-Saharan Africa.

Malaria is something that you don't get once and then you've built upon the immunity you need and then you're done.
