Brazilian football fans are in shock after the host of the World Cup were humiliated by Germany in the first semi final of the tournament losing 7-1 in an epic match. A mood of high expectation before the game quickly turned to despair with Germany scoring five goals in the first half hour. The Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff said she was very sad and sorry about the defeat.

Last week the authorities granted permission for only three of the concerts to go ahead, prompting the singer to say that he would play all of them or none at all.
