The South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has been released from prison a year after hewas jailed for the manslaughter of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. He admittedshooting Ms. Steenkamp after mistaken her for an intruder. Karen Allen has thisreport. “Oscar Pistorius was driven under cover of darkness to his uncle’shouse 20 minutes away. It was a premature departure designed presumably toavoid the immediate lap although the exact condition has not been made public,it’s understood he won’t be electronically tagged, but he will haverestrictions on his movement.
