President Trump has said he's prepared to terminate American participation in the nuclear deal with Iran,prompting condemnation from the other interantional powers that signed it. Mr.Trump said Teheran has violated the 2015 agreement to limit its nuclear porgrame on multiple occations. He said he would not cancel the agreement immediately and will work with congress to repair its floors.
The Iranian presdient Hassan Rouhani was facing a question whether President Trump could unilaterally discertify the agreement that was signed by Teheran not just for the US but the UK, Russia, France, China and Germany. European Union's foreign policy chief said it was not in the hands of any president to end an agreement adopted unanimously by the UN security council.
The authorities in California say they're still fighting 17 seperate wild fires in the wine region to the North of San Fransico. Three smaller fires have been contained and the state's fire protection chief said progress was being made tackling the rest.
The Canadian Prime minister Justin Trudeau has urged Mexico to do more to improve workers' right and to protect already working people. His comment at the Mexican Senate come amid efforts lunched by Presdient Trump to renagotiate the North American Free Trade agreement.
A Brazilian supreme court judge has ruled against the extradition to Italy over a former communitst militant Cesare Battisti. He was jailed for life by an Italian court in the 1970s for the death of four people. Judge said Mr.Battisti would remain in Brazil until the court convine the issue of final ruling.
And two original cover illustrations in color for the French comic strip character Asterix have fetched more than a million dollars each in auction in Paris. The record breaker were signed by Asterix creator, writer Rene Goscinny and illustrator Albert Uderzo.
