飞机降落遭雷劈酿悲剧

Torn into three pieces, the remains of the Boeing 737 fumed shortly after it crash-landed on the Caribbean Island of San Andres. "My sister was able to communicate with our dad after the accident, I spoke with her just a little while ago. She is fine, she had a few traumas that were treated in a clinic. She is now waiting on some tests.

The plane operated by the private carrier Aires left the Colombian capital at midnight. It stalled and then flew into an electrical storm.

The Colombian Air Force has already praised the skill of the pilot in managing to avoid the airport terminal when the plane crashed. The island's governor said it was a miracle that just one person died.
