Good day to you. I'm Cory Kessler at the cnn center in Atlanta. Here's a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

cnn has learned that high-level police officials are assuming the crash of an SUV into a terminal at Scotland's Glasgow Airport is a terrorist incident, and that it is linked to those car bombs that were found in London. Senior police are assuming today's attack is either directly linked to the group responsible for the car bombs, or that it is a copycat attack. Officials say the SUV was driven into the front door of the airport, and it burst into flames on impact. An eyewitness described the scene at the airport.

"I could see a large, what looks like a Range Rover, or a Land Rover, with a couple of guys in it trying to push the way into the airport terminal building. The Land Rover suddenly caught fire. What was really odd was that one of the guys was on fire, but he was trying to sort of open up the back of the, the back of the Range Rover, and it was very very dramatic I have to say."

Now flights have been cancelled at the airport and it does remain closed at this hour. Two people have been arrested. One of them is being treated at a nearby hospital. The Associated Press reports police, does hospitals say, was evacuated after the suspect arrived. We will continue to follow this story and bring you all the latest developments.

Meantime in London the investigation continues into yesterday's discovery of two unexploded car bombs. Police are looking for a man who apparently was seen running from one of the cars. They are also examining forensic evidence from the cars and they are trying to refine images from surveillance cameras.

Here in the US there is increased security at airports across the country to deter against the possible attack in light of the incidents in Britain. White House spokesman Tony Snow says there is no indication of any specific or credible threat to the US and the terror alert status will not be raised. However the TSA has increased the number of agents outside some US airport terminals, and Snow warns that travelers might face longer waits than usual.

Well today mourners are paying their final respects to 26-year-old Jessie Davis. A funeral service was held this morning in Akron, Ohio, at the church where she worshipped. Davis was 9 months pregnant when she disappeared from her Canton home earlier this month. Police say Davis's boy friend Bobby Cuts killed her and their unborn daughter. Cuts is being held on five-million-dollar bond. Davis's body was found in a park after a massive volunteer effort that involved a 3-day search.

And it's not a celebrity that's causing this much of a rocks in New York. It's the new iPhone. And if you didn't get your hands on one of the iPhones in the last few hours you might be out of luck for a while. AT&T says its initial stock of Apple's iPhone is almost gone. The company wouldn't say how many phones were sold. The first customers who did get their hands on one of the phones, were gadget-giddy despite shelling out 600 dollars. Now they just have to figure out how to work their new phones, and whether they live up to all the hype. Apple calls them the most user-friendly, smart phones ever.

And there you have it. That's the news at this hour. For more of what's happening around the world, tune in to cnn television or log on to cnn.com. Don't forget you can get updates through your wireless phone as well, any time, day or night. I'm Cory Kessler. Thanks for watching.
