Republican Congressman Paul Gillmor of Ohio has been found dead in his Washington DC apartment. His body was found by staff members who went to his apartment after he failed to show up for work. Right now there is no word on the cause of his death. Gillmor had represented Ohio's 5th congressional district since 1989. Representative Paul Gillmor was 68 years old.

Embattled Senator Larry Craig may try to keep his job. His spokesman tells cnn the Idaho Republican may not resign if he is cleared of a disorderly conduct charge. He announced intend to resign Saturday. Now Craig was arrested earlier this year during an airport sex sting in Minnesota. Craig faced pressure from fellow Republicans to resign. He says he regrets his decision to plead guilty.

Authorities in Germany say they have foiled an imminent terror plot on US military installations and other western targets in Germany. 3 people are in custody. And the authorities believe they planned the attacks. Police say the suspects are Islamic militants.

6 US troops have been killed, 5 others injured in separate incidents in Baghdad Tuesday. The military says three of the soldiers died when a powerful roadside bomb hit their patrol. 3 other soldiers were killed in combat.

And the military is investigating how they apparently lost track of 6 nuclear warheads. A B-52 bomber mistakenly loaded with the warheads flew from an airforce base in North Dakota to Louisiana last week. Officials wanna learn why the warheads were not properly unloaded before that bomber left. The military says there was never a risk for nuclear detonation.
