Hey, there, I’m Virginia Cha at the cnn center in Atlanta. And here’s a look at what’s happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

There is a controversial new twist in the Blackwater investigation. A State Department official now tells cnn that it was the department’s diplomatic security service that made a limited immunity offer to Blackwater guards involved in a shootout in Baghdad last month. But the source says the deal was not sanctioned by State Department higher-ups. That announcement comes after the Iraqi Cabinet approved a bill that would make private security contractors ineligible for immunity from prosecution, that bill now heading to the Iraqi Parliament.

Saudi’s King Abdullah has arrived at London’s Buckingham Palace. The Saudi monarch may be getting the red carpet treatment there, but there is still a wave of controversy involved here. King Abdullah has angered some Brits suggesting that the 2005 London bombings might have been prevented if the UK had heeded warnings from Saudi intelligence.

At least six people are confirmed dead after a suicide bomber struck uncomfortably close to the office of Pakistan's president. It happened in a military residential area near the army headquarters. The explosion was very close to the home of Pakistan's joint cheese chairman and about a mile from where Pervez Musharraf, the president was working. It’s unclear who the bomber was targeting.

Minnesota prosecutors are expected to file charges today against a 19-year-old man accused of killing a woman who was answering an internet ad. Police found the body of 24-year-old Katherine Ann Olson in the trunk of her car Friday. She hadn't been seen since Thursday when she answered an ad for a nanny posted on the Craigslist Internet site. The suspect has been in custody since Saturday. Police have not released his identity.

The University of Florida, a student who yelled that unforgettable phrase:” Don’t tase me, bro!” won’t face charges for his scuffle with police. But he will remain on probation for 18 months. " Don’t tase me, bro! Don't tase me! I didn't do anything! Bro..Ah..ouch,ouch!!"

You probably remember seeing and hearing that. Andrew Meyer was tasered after repeatedly ignoring officers’ orders during a Q&A session with Senator John Kerry last month. Meyer’s lawyer says he has sincerely apologized in letters to the university's president and campus police.

And those are the headlines at this hour. Stay with cnn for more on those stories and all your other news of the day.
