I'm Naamua Delaney at the cnn Center in Atlanta. Here's a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

This Christmas Eve is already turning into a travel nightmare for many travelers---snows, high winds and icy roads caused nearly 100 flights to be cancelled at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Roads and visibility were so bad in some parts of Minnesota. Temporary shelters and hotels were set up for stranded drivers. The woes of a snow storm that hit Wisconsin may be over, but roads are still icy. Authorities are encouraging travelers to stay home today if possible. The storm is blamed for at least 3 deaths in Wisconsin.

The holiday season has been quieter than this time last year in Iraq but not without scattered violence. A car bombing near the Baghdad governor's office has killed at least 2 people. Militants launched the attack at the nearby intersection, injuring 6 people. Iraqi officials also say a train collided with a mini-van south of Baghdad, killing 13 people.

More Americans are missing that credit card payment and Expert's expected to get worse after the holidays. A report out today from the Associated Press says credit card accounts that are thirty days late are up 26% from last year. Accounts that are 90 days overdue are up 50% and complete default's up 18%.

A mini-van plowed into a Chicago television studio as the news was on the air. The crash wasn't caught on tape but the anchor's reaction show was.
Michelle and the weather made the rescue work all that much more..Oh...
Oh, you can't blame the WLS its anchor for being startled. He was only about 15 feet away from the point of impact. The driver stayed in the van until police arrived. He was arrested. No one in the studio was injured.

Well, some Santas are on the naughty list after being caught on camera, trashing a movie theatre. New Zealand police say a gang of about 15 drunken Santas ran through the theatre, cussing its customers. They also pulled the fire alarm on the way out, forcing several hundred people to rush out. Police think it was a group of college students, pulling a prank.

Well, those are the headlines this hour. Stay with cnn for more on these stories and the other news of the day.
