[06:58.01]Our guest tonight is Feng Tao,the famous Chinese millionaire,

[07:15.72]What standards do you use to judge whether someone is successful?
[07:21.52]Feng Tao:Well,to me a successful person is someone who does the best they can in every situation

[07:33.33]and who has a happy family life.
[07:37.93]Clare:So it has nothing to do with having a lot of money?
[07:42.63]Feng Tao:Well,money doesn't hurt!(They both laugh.)
[07:47.72]Clare:Seriously,though,I know money isn't everything,
[07:53.03]but most of our listeners would be interested in
[07:57.73]hearing about the secrets of your financial success.
[08:02.82]What do you think is the most important ingredient in that kind of success?
[08:09.22]Feng Tao:Well,first of all,I think you need ambition
[08:14.32]you have to be ready to do everything you can to achieve what you want.
[08:20.43]The second thing you need is a strong will.
[08:24.53]If you keep changing your mind,you'll never get anywhere.
[08:30.33]And you need to know how to treat people.
[08:34.82]No man is an island,as they say,
[08:39.03]and if you want to get ahead you need to count on other peoples help a lot of the time.
[08:45.71]Clare:What about natural talent?
[08:49.29]Are some people just born to be more successful than others?
[08:54.99]Feng Tao:I'm not so sure.
[08:58.67]I think luck probably has more to do with it than talent.
[09:03.48]Clare:So if you were going to choose one factor that's the real key to financial success,
[09:10.77]which one would you say is the most important? Could you choose one?
[09:16.75]Feng Tao:Ambition.Without ambition,
[09:21.06]you won't have the motivation to do what you have to do to change your life.

[09:57.32]So he wrote to his brother,asking for $500.

[10:18.55]The Bank clerk told him nothing had come for him.
[10:23.46]This went on for two weeks and Mr.Frank got very worried.

[11:38.75]"But my name is Jackson Frank,not Frank Jackson."
[11:44.13]"Oh,that's all right,sir.
[11:47.63]It was in our books under the letter J,but its your money."
[11:52.93]The clerk laughed.
[11:55.73]"A human mistake,sir!It's only human to make mistakes."
[12:01.24]Mr.Frank was silent.He really wanted to hit somebody.
