在一次交通意外发生时，夺去一位日本少女的未婚夫，该少女由于不想见景伤情而只身离开伤心地日本，远赴香港求取新的快乐生活。在一次偶然的机会遇到一位与他未婚夫十分相似的男子，让他感到非常讶异。该男子实为一位警方的卧底人员，在一次行动中，该男子掉入上司所设下的陷阱，被迫走投无路时，幸得少女舍命相救。在生死边缘间，两人产生了一段如星月童话般的感情。......
