夏恩华德，1984年10月16日出生于英国曼彻斯特，家中有四个男生，三个女生，他是最小的男孩。家里经济状况不是很好，没有太多零用钱的夏恩，绝大多数的时间，都是靠电台播放的流行乐、节奏蓝调歌曲汲取音乐能量。16岁时，夏恩加入了一个重唱组合—命?Destiny)乐团，2004年，命邩穲F报名参加“The X Factor”第一届试唱甄选，但是并没有入选，一年后，夏恩决定以个人身分报名，这一回却出现重大转变，他一路过关斩将，最终赢得了“The X Factor”2005年赛季的冠军。
