[05:40.14]Sometimes I feel that individuals cannot have any effect on such huge environmental problems.
[05:47.19]Anyway, I’m not sure where to start with my project and would love to get any suggestions you have.

[06:01.43]There are many people who fell like you and do not believe they have the power to do anything about our environment .
[06:11.17]But this is not correct .
[06:14.05]Together, individuals can make a difference. We do not have to put up with pollution.
[06:21.70]The greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide, actually comes from many activities we do every day.
[06:30.16]Here are a few suggestions that will reduce the carbon dioxide content in the air.
[06:37.82]These should get you started with you project.
[06:41.63]We use a lot of energy in our houses.
[06:45.68]It’s OK to leave an electrical appliance on so long as you are using it –if not , turn it off !
[06:54.22]so if you’re not suing the light s, the TV, the computer and so on , turn them off .
[07:01.98]And if you’re cold put on more clothes instead of turning up the heat.
[07:08.96]Motor vehicles use a lot of energy-so walk or ride a bike if you can .
[07:16.01]Recycle cans, bottles, plastics and newspapers .
[07:22.17]it takes a lot of energy to make things from new materials , so , if you can , but things make from recycled materials.
[07:33.72]Get your parents to buy products that are make to save energy- this includes cares as well as smaller things like fridges and microwaves.
[07:45.95]Plant trees in your garden or your school yard as they absorb carbon dioxide from the air.
[07:54.80]And, importantly, talk with your family and friends about global warming and tell them what you’ve learned.
