(2) +for 

buy, make, leave, do, choose, order, sing, win etc

e.g.

My mother bought me a toy yesterday.

My mother bought a toy for me yesterday. 

(3) +of 

ask 

eg.

I will ask him a question.

I will ask a question of him.

(4) +at, against, on,...

throw (at), bear (against), play (on)

e.g.

The boy threw the bird a stone.

The boy threw a stone at the bird.
