The 38-country international Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development has slashed its global economic outlook largely because of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development says Russia's war in Ukraine and the energy and food crises it's worsened will severely drag down global economic growth and push inflation this year.

A man from California is in federal custody charged with attempted murder after being arrested near U.S. Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's house in Maryland.

European Union lawmakers have approved a proposed ban on selling new cars with combustion engines in 2035 to step up the fight against global warming.
