娱乐英语新闻:Polanski may choose to face charges in U.S.
Polanski's lawyers suggested the possibility after a Swiss court rejected an appeal for house arrest. If Polanksi continues to fight extradition, he may face up to six more months in jail.

The filmmaker has been in jail since his arrest on Sept. 26 on his way to a film festival in Zurich. The United States wants to extradite Polanski to face sentencing for a 1977 charge of having sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Polanski is best known for his role as director of "Rosemary's Baby," "Chinatown," and "The Pianist."
