娱乐英语新闻:ESPN's Erin Andrews sues hotels, stalker
July 16 (Xinhuanet) -- ESPN reporter Erin Andrews, who was secretly videotaped nude while staying at hotels, sued involving hotels and the stalker on Thursday.
"I've filed this lawsuit to hold accountable those who put my personal safety at risk and who allowed my privacy to be invaded while I was a guest at their hotel as well as for actually stalking me and making my most personal moments public," Andrews says in a statement.
Andrews filed the suit against seven hotels for negligence and invasion of privacy. The lawsuit alleges the hotels confirmed where the stalker Barrett was staying and gave out her room number without her permission.

Also named in the lawsuit is the man who took those videos, Michael Barrett. In March, the Chicago insurance salesman was sentenced to 30 months in prison for committing the crime.
Andrews, the recent contestant on the ABC show "Dancing with the Stars," is asking for more than 1.2 million U.S. dollars from the hotels and Barrett for "severe and permanent emotional distress," according to AP reports.
