娱乐英语新闻:Katy Perry hits Las Vegas for bachelorette party

BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Katy Perry and pals got together in Las Vegas to celebrate the pop star's bachelorette weekend, media reported Monday.

The 25-year-old star and her entourage including singer Rihanna arrived at Las Vegas's Hard Rock Hotel Beach Club pool during the day. In the evening, the party moved to MGM Grand Hotel/Casino, where the entourage checked out Cirque Du Soleil's KA show.

Before heading out for the night, Perry jokingly tweeted about her upcoming night of Las Vegas debauchery: "Signing up for a liver transplant now." She then quoted 9-year-old Willow Smith's club banger: "I whip my hair back'n forth."

A day earlier, Perry's fiance, comedian Russell Brand, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after he allegedly had an altercation with a photographer.

Perry and Brand are expected to tie the knot later this year.
