娱乐英语新闻:"The Social Network," "The King's Speech" among nominees recognized by Producers Guild

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Academy Award best picture likely contenders including "The Social Network," "The King's Speech" and "Black Swan" were among the top 10 movies that were nominated by the Producers Guild of America for the Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, as the organization announced a list of hopefuls for the 2011 awards on Tuesday.

Also nominated for the award were: "127 Hours," "The Fighter," "Toy Story 3," "Inception," "The Kids Are All Right," "True Grit" and "The Town."

For the Award for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures, producers chose "Toy Story 3," "How to Train Your Dragon" and "Despicable Me."

In documentary category, the remaining one of the three awards in motion picture field, the group previously announced a list of six contenders in December 2010. The honorees are: "Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer," "Earth Made of Glass," "Inside Job," "Smash His Camera," "The Tillman Story" and "Waiting for ' Superman.'"

Of all the recognized films, only "Client 9" is awaiting producers' credit decision.

Special recognition including Milestone Award, Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television and Visionary Award will be given to James Cameron, Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman, Scott Rudin, Laura Ziskin and 3-D technology firm RealD.

The 22nd annual award ceremony will be hosted by award-winning producer, director and writer Judd Apatow on Jan. 22 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
