娱乐英语新闻:American film "Need for Speed" to hit Chinese screens

BEIJING, March 7 (Xinhuanet) -- 2014 American action film "Need for Speed" is set to hit Chinese screens on March 14th.

The film is directed by Scott Waugh and stars Aaron Paul, Dominic Cooper, Imogen Poots and Scott Waugh. It is an adaptation of the Need for Speed series of video games by Electronic Arts.

The film tells the story of street racer Tobey Marshall (portrayed by Aaron Paul) who is released from prison for a crime that he didn't commit and tries to avenge the death of his friend Pete.
