SREBRENICA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, March 28 (Xinhua) -- British Foreign Secretary William Hague and Hollywood star Angelina Jolie on Friday paid tribute to victims of the Srebrenica massacre.
Hague and Jolie laid flowers at a cemetery for the victims of Srebrenica. The two also met relatives of the victims during their short stay in the town.
Some 8,000 Muslim men and boys were massacred in and near Srebrenica by Bosnian Serb forces in July 1995, the worst massacre in Europe since the end of World War II.
Earlier in the day, Hague and Jolie participated in Sarajevo in the international conference on prevention of sexual violence in conflicts.
Some 100,000 were killed in the 1990s in Bosnia War, with thousands of women being raped.
